With regards to this post & your one about the E.G.R prob, if you don't want to shell out the £100 odd pp2000 & a old xp lappy to run it on (if you can find one)
Then I would be happy to help, where abouts in Notts are you or you come to me: I have pp2000.

Diesel, that's really good of you, thank you. I think I'll buy pp2000 eventually but it will be useful to have someone nearish and willing to help in the meantime. I might do a bit of homework on the pp2000 later, I'm definitely going to need it at some point, I've tried a few good scan tools on my 406 and only autels maxisys has even connected and although useful it was quite limited.

Radio fixed! It took a great deal of time to figure out but the cure is quite simple, just a matter of bridging two solder joints where the rf board meets the main board. I'll post a tutorial next.
