filling out V5C

I went through the documents for the 305 i bought and found the V5C and filled it out for the new keepers details in order to get it transferred over to my name, but the previous owner has not signed the certificate and i bought the car through an online auction ie not from the previous owner. Can i send it off even though its not signed, i dont actually know if the previous owner is still alive, all i have is the address no phone numbers or email addresses.

Yes,you can still send it,

the previous recorded.. keeper,may receive a 'small fine,

they are 'supposed to send it off not you, theyre strict on it now,

they will still process it even with no-signature, (receiving it back may be delayed due to that,as they may contact the previous keeper,

is the trader section of the v5 missing?

Can't you just scribble a sig yourself? or does the Doovla keep High Definition copies of everyone in the UK's signatures?

you will be ok to just send it off then,
as they will know the original keeper as sold the car to a Trader,

you just need to Date the V5 to the same Day you received the car from the Trader/auction,

send it back Recorded delivery.
