well after doing my clutch and driving it for about 150 miles i have noticed an oil leak, from one of the driveshaft seals i replaced, on closer inspection i noticed i fitted the seal the wrong way round :lol:
so who wants there car fixed? :cheesy:

Oh dear James, but understandable considering what a sh*t of a job it was :|

If that happened at a garage they would say nothing and then charge you again to fix the seal some other time saying it was nothing to do with the clutch :roll:

So when you gonna drop the drive shaft out then ? :P

had some problems with gearbox oil pissing out of my drivers side seal today during my sallye engine swap. Was a bit anoyed cos I pissed 2.5 litres of oil away on my drive.

A few wacks with my mk1 persuading tool soon sorted that out ;)

ill probably end up doing it this weekend as i cant leave it like that, it had to be the side which is a bugger too, the intermediate driveshaft bearing is held in with bolts with an offset head, and it takes an age to undo them and tighten them up
