Blower Motor Control Unit

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Blower Motor Control Unit

Post by Malc »

Looks like my blower motor control unit (LHD 406 Hdi...Unit with two green sockets in the passenger foot-well) has failed again and I've ordered a replacement via ebay.
Wonder if anyone has perchance a circuit diagram of this unit as I'd like to have a go and see if I can repair or at least find out what the hell goes wrong so frequently with this nuisance.

I don't know if its the same as the one in the XM/Xantia but if it is you can repair them if you are handy with a soldering iron. The regulator transtors fail, they are obtainable and not to difficult to fit.
