Fair(ish) stood the wind for France

Post by Doggy »

My son & I are off to Le Mans early tomorrow morning. :cheesy:
The 406 is having a rest this weekend, we're taking his Bimmer, (E90 320D in drug dealer black). :supafrisk:
We're camping inside the circuit and hoping for decent weather, (which looks a bit iffy at the moment).
The race itself doesn't look like being really exciting, but at least we've now got 4 manufacturers slugging it out for hybrid honours in the top category - one's mostly FWD!
I'm a seasoned but rusty veteran having been there in 1984,85,86,87,89 and last time took my then 13 year-old lad, in 2003 - this time he's taking me!
My bro's been there every year bar one since 1984, so the Bangor Banger will be flying the 406oc flag this weekend. (Hmmm, should I take the laptop and some droplinks)? :?

À bientôt.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Camping inside the circuit? Sounds ace. Have a good time, don't forget the mosquito spray.
