Bye bye Charlie

Post by Doggy »

We lost Charlie, the second of our cavaliers last week, (the little chap in my avatar), due to mitral valve disease and other complications.
A few of you will have met, (or more likely heard), him. Can't seem to find any good pictures. :(

He made it to 10 + a few months, so not too bad an innings, but for some reason his passing has been more upsetting, so I've not been around for a spell.
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Sorry to hear this Eric :( my grandparents had many King Charles cavaliers and they were always delightful dogs.

Sorry to hear that Eric, I know I've never met you but I can easily imagine a beautifully-kept dog and very caring owners, very sad news indeed.

Naff old cliche but you know things will improve in time, although little consolation at the moment there is a reliability to the statement.

All the best mate.

Always a horrible experience losing a pet, but I'm sure you gave him a lovely life and at the end of the day what more can you do than that? As long as his time with you was enjoyable, then you have done him proud.
