Ok I have a 406 HDi Estate with climate control I think it would be D9 year is 2000. The car Beeps and STOP flashes on the dashboard when the Air Con is on,when off i have no beeps. I connected to PP2000 and found intermittent fault Evaporator Temperature Sensor , Incorrect Value Received. I presume this means i need to replace the sensor, where the hell is it housed?
Whilst i was on there I got a couple more faults; Clutch Switch Signal. Consistency with vehicle speed and FRIC (cooling function integral with the ECU) consistency between the fan speed and signal... any help with these appreciated.

Best bet is to clear these and see if they come back, if they don't, they don't matter.Whilst i was on there I got a couple more faults; Clutch Switch Signal. 2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Re: Air con Faults... Beeping Hell
As Doggy said it is in the heater matrix the blower motor side. At least if it's the part in the picture it is...

Re: Air con Faults... Beeping Hell
Great that sounds a pig to get to... mine is the version with climate control, not sure if that makes a difference. I was looking on Servicebox for the part no but failed any ideas?
Re: Air con Faults... Beeping Hell

Re: Air con Faults... Beeping Hell
Sounds good PM your details... plus an idea where to find said pain in the back side sensor
Re: Air con Faults... Beeping Hell
The sensor location is circled in red. For reference the green circled area is the fan speed resistor.
