had clutch doen yesterday now got home and gears are a nightmare to find and reverse is not goin in bloke said it might be the linkage out of alignment or cold do with a new linkage .my car has done over 300 thou so not sure weather to keep throwing money at it as 1 i haven'tb got it and to me cars not worth it 210 for the clutch plus fork and slide and fitting ..

If the car changed gear fine before it went for repair, and it won't now...
then it's up to the 'bloke' to rectify the problem.

it worked fine untill the clutch went but now its a bloody nightmare he rekons it might need new linkage

As already been said, If it was ok before. the linkage wont have worn whilst in the garage..

Did he refil gearbox with correct oil...........or any oil ?

problem found rubber on gear linkage is fubared thats why i can't change gear right they getting a new part for a tenner and fitting it for free
