
We've had Doggy's excellent 2.2 HDi estate for 3 years now, and the plan was it was going to have a relatively easy life. However, my father changed jobs and has thus put 60k on it on those 3 years, it's at 245k as of last week!
So we've made the same move and swapped to a lower mileage one in a bid to keep a 406 for as long as possible.
It's a 2.2 HDi Exec estate again, '51 plate, 114k on the clock.
It came with a dashboard that would put most Christmas lights to shame, but we're getting there on that front. Airbag connectors fixed, ABS fault found due to water ingress causing loom damage, overboosting due to a turbo EV vac leak (though there is another smaller vac leak that I've not yet pinpointed).
Seems like a decent buy thus far
