Is there anyone in the Bridgend area that has a pp2000/planet etc that could activate my AUX ports on my RD4 Radio?
Anybody know much about wiring in an aux cable to an RD4 n2 Head unit?

What do you mean by 'aux cable'? (I've got a 'Connects2' adapter on mine, just plugs in and the head unit 'thinks' it's the CD changer).
2002 HDi 2.2 Exec Estate, (2008-12) (wonderful)
2003 HDi 2.2 6-speed Exec Estate (2012-19) (also a gem)
2009 Citroen C5 2.0 HDi VTR+ Estate (godawful heap)
2008 BMW E91 330i touring (great fun - murdered by a reversing SUV)
2007 BMW E91 325i touring (slower smoother quieter)

Just need to plug my phone/mp3 into the radio so I can play music.
My car didn't come with a CD player as standard - will it need activating, or can I just get a cable to plug and play?

Re: Bridgend area help?
I should have realised when you said 'RD4' you no longer have the 406 - a 407, wasn't it?
Sorry, I don't know about these. I have swapped quite a few Clarion head units on various 406's and never had a problem recognising the CD changer, even on a built-in single CD version. Got to be worth a try.

Re: Bridgend area help?
I did this for a customer in the summer....can't remember how I did it but it was dead easy.
If I remember I'll go ask my customer for you, see if he remembers.
