Best I can do is somewhere between January and December 1999 (I don't have many coupe vin codes), I have a feeling it's probably a little after the D8/D9 thing though.

As a general rule, 'Y' plate onwards are 210bhp. W or X could be either. V is almost certainly 194bhp.
