Indeed, all the compliments of the season and best wishes for the coming solar orbit.

It's really crept up on me this year, I've taken so little interest it's like Christmas is for other people really. T'wife's bought a small turkey and there's some bits of pine about the place but that's it for us here. Bah humbug? Nah, you enjoy yourself.

I f*cking love Christmas, but not the way the shops all seem to gear themselves up for it as early as September ...

Got (and gave!) some lovely presents, got a turkey crown (not enough of us to justify a whole bird) in the oven, some parsnips and potatoes roasting, Yorkshire puddings, bread sauce, turkey gravy, stuffing, peas, etc etc. Good times.

Hope Santa has been good to everyone and you all have a great time - still plenty of the day left to have fun with.

And remember - it's not Christmas until you watch Hans Gruber fall from the roof of Nakatomi Plaza. "Yippee-Ki-Yay" :cheesy:

Merry Xmas and now bixing day.
Had a good family get together fairly devoid of car works and forum chats.
Lovely change of scene.
Best wishes for 2016 to all this small but dedicated band of 406 nuts! :)

Sounds interesting to me. But then maybe I'm a sad old twat too. I'd probably end up watching it like a hawk for any changes and then panicking when I see them.

I got some pyjamas.

It was nice and quiet. We went to a church service in Zagreb in the evening for my sis-in-law (two years already, my god), 75 minutes of knee exercises (sit down, stand up, sit down, stand up...). I wasn't completely bored but I don't really understand a lot so my attention wanders:

Painting on the ceiling above my head: Brightly dressed woman surrounded by 12 men with beards, for some reason they all have fire coming out of their heads and they are all looking up in shock and awe as above them a duck bursts through a cloud riding on a sunbeam. I wonder what they were planning before the duck showed up.

Painting on the wall to my left: A woman is hiding behind a pillar while another woman, who seems to have wings, is pointing her out to...oh, it's that duck again. "She's the one that ordered duck à l'orange! Get her!"

Painting on the wall in front of me: an old man with a beard is holding a child, which is naked. Are they having a laugh?

There are 12 scenes around the walls in brass relief (is that right, 3D pictures made of brass?) of the guy who's birthday we celebrated yesterday (allegedly) carrying his cross and finally getting nailed to it. I am certain that on the nearest one I could reach up and pop a fag in his gob.

At one point, while everyone's meant to have their eyes shut in prayer, one of the alter boys yawns, stretches and checks his watch. You and me both sunshine.

Santa brought me a dash cam gubbins, therefore I'll spend 6 months discovering what a micro SD card is and building a usb charger into the inferior light console. :?

(At least this will delay the fateful day when I get it working and promptly cause an accident while recording the evidence).
