Key Fob D8

After I changed the battery on the 1 button key it stopped working.
Does anyone know how to reset the key. Its a 406 D8 from 1998.

Problem solved. Loose connection i switch.

I have a similar issue with my 1998 D8 key. When you say a loose connection in the switch, do you refer to the circuit board inside the key fob or the connection between the battery and the circuit board? (or something else entirely ?)
