cabin temp sensor NOT FIXED

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

cabin temp sensor NOT FIXED

Post by dadooo »

Hey Pugsters !
The wife's 2000 406 estate 16v was not blowing that much hot air out of the vents .I bled it .. no avail... thinking sensor somewhere .Asked my friend google and found this http://rodiumplatedpipe.blogspot.se/200 ... -unit.html . thought worth a try ... I didn't tear it down as far as he did and I just blew some compressed air through it.
TAADA it works! warm and cozy again!
just thought I would share
EDIT: Did not fix the heat :| . car was in a warm garage and after being out in the cold it just doesn't get warm :frown:. thinking the flap to the warm air isn't moving .... time to play contortionist and stick my head under the dash....

It is not the possession of truth, but the success which attends the seeking after it, that enriches the seeker and brings happiness to him.

Yep, they're good for collecting cabin fluff

I always like it when foljs have a go at these stuff, if it's already kippered you're hardly likely to make it worse.

Btw a new one of these is, erm, almost 50 quid
