Well ! What can I say, eventually went for £1700.

Nice if you had the money, but I guess I'll just have to persevere with my present model.

Of that I've no complaints, after all it's just done 5028 miles without a hitch.

Bejesus, £1,700.00

Just goes to show if you have a genuine, proper low mileage, clean example then people will pay top dollar for it.

Yeah that car was a good buy, but i'm surprised it went for £1,700.

eBay is good if you are looking for some bargains, but also good if you are looking for something for imparticular and don't mind paying for it.

I paid £2,250 for my D9 executive. 59k, full service history and in really good condition (bar one small dent). I waited for one in this condition and with low mileage for ages, and was willing to pay good money for it.

Even at the price I paid I think I got a good deal. Most D9 executives at over 100k go for over the £2,800 mark. I bid for mine and bought it over xmas, so I think not many people were online and looking for one at the time.

few differences between that one and mine...

1. chrome trim
2. different throttle assembly?!?!?!
3. High idle
4. He's got a temperature gauge on the left of his dash, mine's an oil level gauge
5. His hazard/heated windscreen buttons have the light at the top, mine are at the bottom
6. He has lights on the door cards
7. I want a fakewood ashtray!

Interesting.

Make sure your money, insurance costs, etc are all sorted before you bid. I’ve heard every hard luck story there is, including the recent death of a close relative and ‘I thought I could pay by credit card’, so please don’t win the auction and bore me with another one. Very very nice. The multi spokes look really good on it. My first 406 was a GLX in diablo red - beautiful in the sunlight but the lacquer was flaking on the bonnet and had to get it resprayed. The local stealer said this was more of a problem with this base coat colour for some reason - never did understand why - maybe it's more prone to the heat off the engine or something.

If i was to buy this then it would be straight in to get that chip and front bumper done as coming out and seeing that every day would drive me buggy

Forgive me now for being picky here but if you can't engage 3rd gear without it graunching and it only costs £105.00 at a dealer to put right then why not get it fixed before you sell it?

Also, I would hate not to have any sunvisors, I use my visors day in day out winter or summer, I just like the visor down, easier on the eyes.

I like that coupe though, very tastefully done.
