Electronical ignition fault

Talk about the 406's electrical system, what wires do what, how to add extra functionality, etc.

Is there a 4 digit PIN number on a small card in the handbook/service folder?

If not, then you will need to get it from the internet - try www.carkeycodes.co.uk

The PIN number needs to be used with PP2000 to match the key to the BSI - if you have more than 1 key you need to do all keys at the same time.

Just called a guy who was checking at first and he said that he already tried that, but he couldnt connect to bsi pp2000 neither,so wtf.the only solution for now what he is saying, that he needs to take car to his garage and check all wires or something like that, because he thinks that ecu,bsi or something like that cant get enough power....

Well,i will say everything from the start point:
I bought damaged car(pug standed atleast 5months),but car always started and drived good.then i noticed that display started too show low brake fluid, but it was fine.than together with dad we started to collect car front, like bumper, headlights, washers and we often was unplugging battery, than display showed economy mode activated, yellow key flashed on dash, display showed electric ignition fault and pug cant start.bsi resets didint helped as battery changing too.all fuses are good, battery too.still can use windows, seats, lights.radio now dont work, before this, radio wasnt working too,but cd changer was fine.then a guy with pp2000 tried to find out what was happening, but he couldnt connect with ecu or bsi,but everything else responded........mayby something got corroded after 2 days in warm garage, because before pug was at cold garage or outside.....mayby you can tell what ”numbers” should show fuses what are under the hood, and hoe to check relays, mayby i missed something or.....a bit afraid to give my car to others when there is no good peugeot mechanics in my town so now i'm trying everything

Instead of 12V ECU was getting only 1.2V,so a guy checked wires below battery and found one corroded :D fixed him to look if pug will start, and then display showed risk of ice and v6 started :))
