I am not clued up on ebay, does that mean he is leagly bound to sell that car for £2000? wasnt he wanting over £4000 for it!!!

Yup and yup.

However, as the winning bidder has zero feedback (meaning they've never done an Ebay transaction) he might get messed about. The bidder might not turn up or if he does, might simply kick the tires and try to haggle on the price. Which happens a lot with car auctions on ebay unfortunately.

Thats why a lot of sellers state that bidders if X ammoutn of feedback and less must contact them first, or their bid will be cancelled.

For Geordieboys sake, I hope it runs smooth and he gets the cash.

Mind you, I did say he'll never get 4 grand for it!

Where EXACTLY did I ever say I wanted £4k for it? I was happy at £2k which is why the bidding started at £2k with no reserve.
It was for sale at £3k ONO if you looked at 1st page. You always add more on so you can come down a bit. A dealer will prob sell it for £4k+, but I aint a dealer.

As for the 0 rating bidder, I've sent him an e-mail and if he responds and comes for the car then so be it. I aint haggling on price, he lives in London so he'll be coming a long way. I would have removed the bid, but with 15 ppl watching I assumed someone else would bid, maybe the 15 ppl were from this site and taking the piss after I asked ppl to remove the watch? If he doesn't come then I will send ebay a non payment whatsit. Then goto a dealer and prob get offered around £1.8k+ for it.

Either way I'm now not bothered if it goes or stays.
