That's a shame. Mine has been misbehaving a little on the colder days, but usually recovers after half an hour or so.

Mine has been significantly worse when cold this winter, even though it's been a mild one :frown:

Take it out and stick it in the airing cupboard for a few days to dry out (now you have two you can rotate them!)

Mine looks like that most mornings these days, but run the car for an hour or so and all the lines come back, I'm convinced it is moisture related.

Try a hair dryer on the screen. It may fix the 'stuck' pixels on the left.

Thanks, although this screen has now gone very liney too, so I really need to sort out the water ingress - a day with the doors open ( not when it was raining..!! ) seemed to work, so the old, old, old MFD is now in the de-hu room drying out to see how it looks when I plug it back in, as suggested I could rotate them depending on weather conditions...

On a random note, I have an ABS fault ( Left Rear Sensor according to PP2000 ) and its a permanent fault. It came on once when I braked a little sharpish and reversed a bit quick into a mates driveway ( he lives on a busy road  ) and disappeared soon after. Came back again under the same circumstances of hard braking and was there for good - well it was until yesterday and its now gone?

Before I remove my rear disc, and possibly ruin a perfectly good handbrake, is there a weak spot for rubbing/chaffing or water ingress for this sensor?

Thanks all.

Another update - I have put the old MFD back in, which is the best of the 3 that I have. I can't believe its the same screen as in my first picture before - definitely affected by moisture ( eBay here I come.. )

I bumped into a chap called Tom, he lives 2 streets away, who was scrapping a china blue estate, so with a bit of a swap session ( I gave him stuff from my donor car ) I now have a dent free rear passenger door...

We had to change the window motor as his car had manual windows, its a straight fit and the loom just feeds through, and we replaced the check-strap from my door to new door - Its the same colour door, just different days...

Also the rear drivers side is water proof now thanks to a replacement seal, and fitted one of Tom's CD head units so I can enjoy* listening to the kids CD's...

I still have the ABS fault, but it comes and goes even though its a permanent fault, so I'll be checking this in the next few weeks...pfft.

I wouldn't worry too much about the ABS fault...I've had this a few times with rear sensors...the light comes on and off after a heavy braking session then goes away for about 9 months or so...had it on my brother's car on wednesday this week!
The fault had been off for 9 months then came back on at the mot test after they had done a brake test...light is now out again!

Thanks John - my Peugeot mechanic chappie simply* replaces the wire from the sensor to the 'where ever it goes' with one long piece to eliminate false faults, he says its common for the OSR sensor to have issues..

It came back on when I hit a bump, but then off again next time I started, prior to that it was on for about 2 weeks, off for 3 days etc etc..

Hi Ben, not sorted it yet but I have been making progress.

I had an auto elec chappie come round and he checked the wiring from the MAP to the ECU and although I have a P0235 message, there was no break in the wire.
I have also redone my vacuum pipes ( again ) so there are no retrictors and just one pipe to servo with a 'T' piece for the turbo - it seems I have sticking vanes so I'm driving to FCS in a low gear at high revs.... :supafrisk:

On the positive side, I've painted my interior....

I've since hoovered the car out for the 3rd time since I've owned it  and cleaned the engine bay.....

I'm still really happy with the car, just need to sort the power issue.....
