I've sort of added a Boost gauge and a Vacuum gauge so I can monitor whats going on in the engine bay while I'm driving ( still haven't found this ruddy fault... ) and there is enough pipe to monitor the turbo or swirl or the servo feeds


I've since refitted the vents and although it looks a bit Heath-Robinson it will do for now until I get around to tidying it up...
It seems the vacuum from the turbo solenoid to the turbo drops to 0 when I floor it ( effectively closing the vanes ) , but increases nicely if I throttle gently which opens the vanes as it should..

My new Brembos are being refurbished by me ( not without issues I might add

On a positive note - here is my best MPG figures so far, the picture was taken at Tewkesbury Morrisons after a 100 mile drive - not bad for a fettled 2.2Hdi
