eh in line restrictor????? lost me sorry, i have though pinched the pipe for the guage from work and may have a t piece to fit????
cheers
for the advice
Mick
you wont need a resticter mate the volume of air in the pipe is negligable considering at 200bhp your car will be using 280-300cubic feet of air every min then a few ccs in the boost gauge wont matter

Thanks
so i use the small pipe in the top of the dump valve ?
cool
boost guage in tomorrow i think.
200 bhp interests me how easily is this available?????????
from the replies to this thread i have read this car seems to be a similar (in principle) but lesser powered rover 600 ti as that is wasted spark and progressive boost also ..... didnt understand it then and dont understand it now but hey i can memorise it and spout it off to people and look good

I used a T piece to start with and my boost was affected quite alot due to the vaccume level being so low that the bov was creeping open, most gauges ship with a plastic T piece that has a brass restrictor pressed into the gauge outlet, as a matter of due course I would advise that you do get one of these fitting kits / T-Pieces
