I haz been to that Germany for 4 days, North Germany and a place called Lubeck. This is where Welly_Junior is spending a year working as a Teaching Assistant teaching English in a School as part of his University Degree.
This is one of the few coastlines in Germany right up in the North East near to where you catch a Ferry to Scandinavia and such, see how the world's tallest* man observes the ferocious* waves* crashing onto the beach:

And Doggy: we used all public transport which worked seamlessly well i.e. to-the-minute. And no I wasn't wearing flared troosers
