Gutted, no cruise control for me!
My 406 only needs one thing to make it perfect and that's cruise control but guess what, I have been denied! Was checking under the dash recently, found the brake switch wiring and the holes for the switches above the pedals, it was all looking good until I looked for the stalk multi plug on the steering column, it's not there! But just to rub salt in the wound, I checked my scrap donor 406 and it does have the multi plug, I'm guessing it's all part of the main loom so would be a massive job to swap everything over? Please tell me otherwise!

I'm not certain that early semi-mux 90s ever got cruise control if I'm honest. I know 2000 model 110s were fitted with different wiring looms dependant on whether cruise control was specced or not, from 2001 onwards I believe a common loom was fitted which allowed for cruise to be retrofitted, mines an 01 semi-mux and I fitted it to mine, all wiring was there.
Sorry to disappoint!

Re: Gutted, no cruise control for me!
That sounds pretty spot on because my donor 406 is a 2001 model and it does have the correct loom, so annoying because I could retrofit it to that one but the car is too far gone to put back on the road and it would never be as good as my current one.
