So hello from Bulgaria. I'm doing some performance stuff on my 2.0 HDi 110 but I need your help now. So far I've changed the turbo to a GT2052s, fitted new clutch, cleaned all radiators, changed all fluids and stuff, got bigger nozzles, but I don't know what to do with the MAP sensor. I've bought one from a BMW e46 330d (M57D30), it's a 3 bar map, has 3 pins on it, but the plug is different. How to find out which pins to connect?
Try sending Steve at hdi tuning a email, hopefully he can help you
I will follow your progress with interest.
Please keep us posted with updates, DDD
2002 110 HDi estate, Rapier in monaco blue! ( found quite a bit more power ) SOLD I've sorted the airbag light
1998 3.0 V6 SE coupe in Diablo Red ( my baby ) sold
2006 206 1.4 16v sport in Aegean blue ( wife's shopping trolley )
I believe the ECU file will be need to be modified to suit the new sensor. The output voltage with respect to turbocharger pressure may not be identical so will need linearization, and the ECU currently will throw an error if it sees more than 2500mbar.
I can personally vouch for Steve @HDi Tuning, very knowledgeable chap and he did a custom map for mine.
My car is also remapped, but I got used to it and wanted some more. That's why I chanted all this stuff. It will be remapped soon, but I've to change the MAP first, so we could make logs first
