Better to use "PP2000" (Peugeot Planet 2000) to read the diagnostic codes, the general purpose code readers often produce a lot of incomprehensable output.

Is yours an older 406?
Early models D8 have just one airbag trigger for the steering wheel airbag, and later models have 2 airbag triggers...

I assume it's the drivers airbag, they may be a break in the contacts - but as suggested PP2000 will pinpoint it for certain.

Hi all I got to loose the airbag on the steering wheel.. Then I saw the the airbag connector is out.. So I put it back and drew back everything.. To my surprise the airbag light is still flashing on in the dashboard..when I scan it I got this message:
1. Drivers module trigger open circuit ..permanent fault.
2. Seat belt trigger open circuit.. Permanent fault.

So cleared it..the rescan again..to my surprise the fault keep showing..I checked under the seat and I disconnected and reconnected airbag connector and seat belt..scan again and the problem is still there..please can someone help me out?

My experience with general diagnostic code scanners is that they usually cannot clear fault codes on these 406 models.

Better to use PP2000, that has always worked for me.

The fault codes might also clear themselves after a few rides, so you might also just wait for them to clear.
