Fed up replacing ball-joints and bushings.
Is there any quality parts you can recommend that does not need replacement every 12 months or so.
Febi vs Moog vs Lemförder vs Mapco vs …
I know Lemförder is very good for BMW anything rubber. But is it any good for Peugeot 406?
Parts I am after: Tie rod 3817 40, 3817 39 and maybe 3812 C4.
Thanks

I replaced my estate drop links with lemforder one's & there still going strong 3 1/2 years, 40k later
But I have just bought some Meyle HD ones for my coupe & these come with a four year warranty
So hopefully they should last even longer .
Hope this helps DDD.

If buying on ebay look for the droplinks/tie rods that have an allen key hole in the end for holding the centre still, look carefully at the pictures and check the quality of the rubber boots - they are what usually fail. Since I have been buying that type I haven't had a problem.
Also those without the allen key facility are impossible to do up really tight and if there is any movement in them they will rattle, just done one on a Coupe, sounded as though it was clapped out but was actually only loose - the rubbers had gone though.
