So how to identify a Mk1 bonnet to a Mkll, the one I've been offered is year 2000
So from what I know could be either

I know it probably sounds like a daft question but my 02 406 needs a new bonnet

Hmmmm.
You should be safe with a year 2000 bonnet, as I think anything newer than a T reg is D9 ( some T reg could be either ) however Monaco Blue is a D9 only colour

but I think the bonnet I've been offered is China blue So a respray is on the cards, can't find a Monaco blue one in good condition for love nor money
