I really think it is a timer. 12.2 Volt is not a depleted battery. I've seen lower voltages on my battery, but the timeout is always around those 30 minutes (on my model, that is).

I tried to up the voltage and it still shut down on me after 30min. And i ant restart it just by starter cranking. It has to have ignition.
I have a friend that converted Citroen C2 and he had to input 11111... to BSI register to have 4000years between ECO mode trigger . Does anyone have the EEPROM position of eco mode timer on 406?
Also i would like to try to put 14V on alternator excite input. It is difficult to access alternator without dissassembly. Since i cant drive my car to a shop i need to try everything insitu before i take it there. Do you know where the wire goes?

Luckily i found a wire connected to alternator +12V supply. Whenever this is connected to 12V a group of relays comes on and everything in the car starts to work! Hurah! That is one single thing that enables me to start using the car as is.
ATTENTION! So i confirm this wire is the 12V signal to BSI to let the cabin systems work even though the motor IS NOT working. I think this is the way to hack your car so the stereo and internal system woul work from the battery. I will post some photos of the wire even though the loom was dissassembled from the engine. Main thing is this wire was connected to alternator contact, so it supplied 13V only when engine was working.
There is a missing link however. RPM indicator doesnt want to react to my prodding. I tried 58 pulses and it didnt work. I will need to simulate correct pulse timing if i want to wake up RPM AND some other functions that depent on it.
Speedo i noticed has a reference to RPM/KM. RPM of exit shaft is 1.3x of car speed it seems.
I will just make a circuit that i will feed motor RPM and divide that by 8 and again multiply by 1.3.

I have done a number of diesel conversions over the years but I think they would have been a doddle compared with the one you are planning. I was an electronics engineer for 50 years but I wouldn't tackle it, mind you it was all analogue and valves then, don't understand this digital stuff. I wish you success and hope you will keep us posted.

Hm... i am working on arduino circuit which will transmit pulses with 3 holes timing pulse to simulate engine operating. I think that way i can command the 800rpm and keep internal system operating. AC doesnt want to engage the compressor clutch. I think it needs RPM signal.
On the other note, does anyone have a schematic of engine compartment fuses and relays. I need to steal 15A worth of current to power inverter coolant pumps and Webasto heater. I think i could connect to injection relay and its fuse, but i need to know which one is it. There is no actual schematic to be found for 3.0 V6. Can anyone make it available?

I have the SEDRE discs. If you pass me your VIN number (via PM if you like your privacy), I can look up the schematics and send them to you.
Maybe better to PM me also your e-mail address. Posting many MBytes of schematic drawings via attachments on this forum is not convenient (if even possible).
You might also want to buy these discs yourself, they are frequently offered on e-bay. It requires a bit of a learning curve to use them; I can help you with that.

Yes, because the higher than 9001 RPO diagrams are "clickable". Which is handy if you have the discs but a nightmare to create picture files from.
Another word for RPO number is "DAM number". Here are some nice calculators for it:

I can relate. My RPO is 8614.
I wasnt able to get into Teleprogramming section of PP2000. I tried even with official programmer. I was trying to hack BSI ECO mode conditions. Finally i found it just watches for single 12V signal wire from alternator to find engine is operating. Very conservative, but i dogged the bullet there.
Now i need only to find how to start AC clutch. This one i thing need BSI signal and BSI need to see engine RPM.

Since i didnt get any sucess from mechanical RPM gauge i tried to spy on the network.
I used a simple OBD tool t read codes.
What i found... Throttle sensor as high... of course BSI wont let me start the car if I am pressing throttle all the time! Of course i removed throttle and its spring and wire. So i connected throttle sensor back and played with it some. I got throttle circuit A, B and C high report. I found position where all errors save one went out. That single error is for "throttle circuit A high" error. I cant seem to get rid of it.
I am asking anyone if you have 406 coupe 3.0 V6, can you put a needle along each wire in throttle connector and measure the value against GND. Measure voltages on wires when engine is not started yet, only appy 2nd key position.
This will help me make a circuit to simulate throttle position when car is idle.

Darn! I figured why my 406 wont signal on starter pin.
It is an automatic. There is a relay that is governed by P mode of the gearbox shifter. Of course i removed the shifter. DOH! Either i will have to bypas this relay or i use another circuit to trigger shifting through P, R, D modes.
I think start signal is not related to throttle problem. But throttle signal is good, i think i am just missing a reference point GND, since there is no gearbox and its wiring anymore.

Both battery boxes are in. Also Inverter and new fuse box is mounted.
Charger and DCDC are in.
Now i need to fit the charging port and route HV cables and signal wires. Then i will fit batteries in.
