Hi all. I have an 3.0 V6 with the ES9J4 engine but it leaks from the oil filler cap. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement i believe the o ring washer has perished.
Thanks
Kerry

Re: Es9j4 engine oil cap
You'll find more info for this engine over on the Coupe club forum,
But anyway, it's not an o-ring but a flat ribbed rubber seal, can't be bought seperately & I think Peugeot
Will have long N.F.P that cap as it's slightly different on the ESJ94's.
What happens is over time the two little metal tags that hold the cap in place bend very slightly so there isn't
as much pressure on the seal.
You can carefully bend the tabs slightly towards the top of the cap to increase the pressure on the seal.
There is a guide to this if you need it on the Coupe club forum, anyhow it worked for me on both my car's.
