I'm picking up an oscilloscope from Sheffield (think I'll take the direct route through the Peak District country lanes!) and planning my uber trip computer design, making a start on the programming
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Taking my loverly 6 down to Plymouth and back (approx 650miles) so my dad can fit my new startor motor, new front pads and discs, and so my uncle can fit my new front and spare tyres.

Oh and ill probably pop in and see my gran too, and meet a few old mates for a few sharpeners!

Got a car show on Sunday with the 4X4 club, but nothing planned for Monday yet. Hopefully I'll get the chance to give my Pug a going over with various Autoglym products. :cheesy:

I know, I could do the front pads and discs myself, but my mechanical knowledge beyond that is limited. Anyway my dad managed to get the bits cheap from someone he knows, so it would be pointless posting them to me...

Had to go home and see the folks sooner or later so thought he may as well do it for me.

Oh and my gran, im going to try and persuade her to make her legendary fruit cake to bring home with me...
