i would buy a spray paint can of the same colour, spray it into a dish and use a cocktail stick dipped n the dish of paint to fill the gap, dont put it on thick but do a few layers until it is just proud of the normal paint.
wait for it to cure (overnight) then get some p2000 wet and dry and a snading block and take it back so it is level with the old paint.be very gentle
then use a polish to bring the shne back to the paint this will take alot of work but costs next to nothing

the more time and care you take doing it the least noticable it will be.

farecla is just a harsh polish (cutting compound) it wont restore paint where it has been removed (however will held with buffing up after)you can use p2000 just be gentle and focus it on the scratch once it is filled.
once its flat then stop sanding and start polishing
its perfectly fine to use t cut on laquered cars, youd have to tcut it every day for about 6 years to break through the laquer when applying it by hand, if using a buffer you will still be fine just be carefull and dont use pressure just the weight of the buffer.
tcut is just a cutting compound anyway same as farecla and many polishes.
i would reccomend the poorboys line of products or Zymol if your feeling rich

you can get it in the uk too ill find a supplier later but p2000 then ssr3, ssr2 ssr1 will bring it back to a mirror
then throw some nattys wax on and it will look stunning

results for nattys

I would install one of these connected to a cheap video recorder, recording on LP when you're not at home or at night. If it happens again, and you have video evidence, then the old bill might do something about it if they feel like it.adam03031980 wrote:My car got keyed at the weekend and the scratch is a little faint and in other places deeper showing a white m car is a red metallic 406 hdi is there anyway i can get this out
Both my D8 Windows were smashed at the Coventry Showcase cinema car park before xmas. The pricks stole my Pioneer head unit and a few other things things from the glove compartment.
I called the old bill, and guess what? they didn't do anything, not even a panda car... They just told me to call my insurance company. And to think, when someone is on the way home from from getting a nice warm take-a-way, they stop them and start crying over a blown tailight bulb.
