Got back to the testing station and was greeted with a thumbs up and " no problems - a great car you got there "

He said the emissions were brilliant considering the mileage and age ( Lambda reading was 1.008 - that may mean something to the ppl in the know among you

This is the second year running she has gone through without a hitch.
I have had four 405's and this is my second D8 '6. I got her with 83k on the clock and now it's reading 107k so in nearly 25,000 miles all i have had to replace is one corroded turbo coolant pipe which was leaking- a whopping £17 and a couple of hours in my garage to fix.
Anyway the reason for this diatribe is that as of lately i have been thinking about getting a little run a round as i can't really justify running a 2.0 petrol turbo when a diesel would suffice.
Yes the passenger airbag cover may be curling up at the edges like a stale cheese sarnie and the drivers window now and again decides to open itself for no reason but it's day's like this that i still think that's it's a beautiful looking motor and i wouldn't give it up for the world.
