Have come across this before aswell as seeing a gallery of someone who converted their coupe. Photos were from start to finish.
Let me tell you, theres an awful lot of cutting and welding going on!
Apparently, that particular 406 conversion is so good that if you crash it original Ferrari panels could be fitted as replacements!
I've seen that website before - they don't half give the MRpoo a slagging, claiming it "too slow" to do justice to a Ferrari doppelganger, as well as being visibly too small/badly proportioned to make a realistic base.
I quite fance the twin V6 option (one front, one rear) and for 40k it really is good value, if you like that sort of thing.
For 40k you could buy a good second hand 355,why make a car that pretends to be something it isn't? The interior will never look right and it wouldn't sound right or evem perform like a Ferrari
Any 355 or £40k will be a right snotter. £40k puts you into exceptional 328, or reasonable 348 territory.
£40k for the twin engined version is a lot, but 10 or 15k for a standard, well executed version is pretty sweet and the £ to ratio will be pretty sweet.
