Picture - my old pride and joy and a show car

Post by Gus »

Spot the Car - Who can tell me what she is - Here are a couple of clues

1. There are approximatly 11 still being taxed in the UK
2. The correct name of the car as per the log book is now the name of two seperate cars.
3. she has the original 2.8ltr Auto, duel kick down engine and box
4. i spent approx 3 yrs doing her up.

Now just to hope the picture works.

Ohhhh snap - I love the "Celica - Supras"!!!

They are getting rare here too - Alot of them have faded paint and have become pretty rusty over the years but they sure were one phat looking 80's Toyota!

Sucks to hear about you writing it off :(

Strewth - I had one of them! Was on a 'B' if i recall, though i got shot about 1999 or so. 2800 - not as quick as the equivalently sized crapri, but much finer chassis and just plain looked meaner 8)

yehj she was a B plate - bought her from and scrap yard in 2000 and spent like i said three years doing pits and pieces, got her to MOT standard then used to show her through ToyotaOwners.co.uk at a few of the rallies etc,

then took her on the track and the rest is history as they say,
