but Dai, if he does that then he will have to pay his excess and then try and claim it off the third party thats involved, not there insurance company

Yep, what James said. Im not paying for anything, ive done nothing wrong.

Im not holding my breath either it getting sorted soon, his insurance company know nothing about it. Basically the guy has'nt told them.

Oh yeah i saw it just after it happened they arrested the guy there and then, he was pissed out of his mind. Ive even given my insurance the crime number but theres still nothin doin.

things are moving along pretty quickly now , i had a phone call from the estimaters and they are coming out on monday to see the damage

The car's still useable in the meantime though is it? If it needs a back wing, quite likely they might write it off. Will you still buy it back and do it up a bit to sell? COuld help you toward getting the Mi16 or GTi.
