Reminds of a time when I was a very small nipper, bout 3. The cat was sick on the first step of the flight of stairs in our house.
Ever helpfull wee thing, I took of the jumper I was wearing and mopped it up for Mum then went into the kitchen, where she was chatting with a friend, to present it to her.

Unfortunately, I had been wearing my absolute best jumper as we were about to go out somewhere.

Mother was not pleased!

According to Mother asnd her friend, she chased me up the stairs to the cry of "Come here you bastarding c**t... you little sh*t".

'Course... it was only later she realised I was trying to help.

He's done a cracking job on the driveway though! :D

Many moons ago, the scouts knocke on my door during bob a job week, offering to clean my car. At the time is was an ageing Astra, so i wasn't that fussed if it wasn't cleaned well. 15 minutes later I stepped out, cup of tea in hand, to see how they were geting on. I wasn't amused to discover that the sponges they were using there the washing up ones with the abrasive Scotch Brite pad on one side...

Proof positive that with Kids, the learning does not flow one way. I knew when I was 11 I was teaching my parents the odd thing or two. Granted, not exactly this... but still :P
