Local Chav Pwned by my HDi

Post by Welly »

On the way in today a local chav-tastic Escrote 16v low riding, lexarse toting, fart can sounding mobile was being driven with some gusto by the lad.

Unfortunately - I was on his tail, he was braking for bends when I didn't need too and consequently I ended up 'pushing' him along through the twisties. His attempt to outrun the awsome power of my Diesel on the straights was pointless and he eventually gave up with some embarrasment.

I wouldn't normaly suggest this sort of behavior but, today, I couldn't resist a bit of a play and it was really funny.

He must have spunked no end of his ill-gotten gains on his wickid motah only to be Pwned by a totally standard oil burner

.....carry on

Nice one! I wouldn't condone such behaviour either, but when you get some chav in his 1.4 corsa driving like a %$&? and giving it beans to overtake you, I love to put my foot down gently and leave him for dust with my 2.0 petrol power......it annoys them and then you just cruise off into the distace...

Of course if I had a V6 I would do it more often.

but when you only have the 1.8 petrol (and no money) its very difficult to burn off a 1.4 corsa/metro etc etc :frown:

No, it's easy, cos the plastic cam belt tensioner will have popped on the Corsa before it gets to 60, and the Metro driver s artificial hip wouldn't be up to olding the loud pedal down long enough.

One of the downsides of the Mi16 is that every fooker wants to race you, but what does it prove to have the best handling 4 door saloon in the world run rings round some hoodies in a chavalier? There's just no sport in it any more.

I recently made an elise pilot work very hard to kep up with me on he country roads - was his beter speed versus my better roadholding and training. By the time we'd got to the A45 i'd made about 200 metres on him. Once on the dual cariageway I gave up and pegged it at 70, but he eventually came whining past in a right fit if pique. He obviously couldn't handle having his nancies car thrashed by a sub £1000 Peugeot. Heh heh.

I must admit to burning off the odd prick on a corsa, fiesta, escort etc.
At certain key revs, the 2 liter engine is plenty powerfull to burn a lot of cars off.

Sometimes they're just begging to be shown where their place is in the motoring world.

I can imagine that the 406 handles even better when lowered slightly.

standard 1.9td's are slow. turn the max fuel screw on the pump, up the on-boost fueling and adjust the turbo wastegate for instant 125bhp, all for free :). Its common practice on 306 d-turbos round here. Fair enough they spew out the black reak... its a sign of power lol. Just watch your engine temps though, go too far and you'll pop a gasket.

Something i've meant to ask is; on the 406 the fuel pump seems to be semi-ecu controlled, what does the ecu control on them?

Used to toy with the corsa's and clio's etc in my old megane coupe, loved annoyin the dimwits. Tried against a screwed 306 2 days ago in my 2.0 16v 406 coupe on my twisty roads to my house, couldnt catch the f*cker! It must have been runngin about 130bhp as i couldnt see the 306 past its smoke

do 406's use a bosch pump or a lucas pump?
Turning just the max fuel screw you can get great power gains could reach 115bhp, but if your looking for hitting 125bhp you will have to turn up the on-boost fueling and adjust the turbo.

I can sort you out with guides on how to do the max fuel screw if you let me know which pump you have. Bosch pump its easy to do, a 13mm spanner and flat head screw driver is all you need. Lucas pump is a bit more difficult as you must open a cap on the pump and rock the car in gear to reach the 4-5mm allen-head screw.

The 2.1 is pretty good - mid range it's awesome !

This morning, I kept up with a boxter in 1st, he left me a little in 2nd, I nearly rear-ended him in 3rd, and passed him at some traffic lights.

I dare say had he been trying, he could have out-run me ( but I wasn't trying too hard anyway  ), but 1st gear seems very short on those !

from 40 - 90mph, the 2.1's torque is awesome in 5th !
2.1TD LX Cat C
No longer in use, and SORNED due to..
Steering leaking.
Back door stuck shut.
MOT and Tax out.
Baby on the way, so now have a 405 Estate
Any offers for the 406 ?

all 406 1.9 have a bosch pump, but the max fueling screw is coverd by the immobiliser stop solenoid shield, and you have to take the pump off and dril out this cover, also the to adjust the on boost fueling you have to dismantle the pump
