I just replaced my exhaust with a standard backbox

Post by GeordieBoy »

As I'm still selling it, I thought it best to change it. Now it looks like right and not shite. :cheesy:
I wish I done that in the 1st place instead of getting the 1 I did, but I've learned.

Also just done the Front Brake Pads, not bad for £75 for both.

I'm just gonna leave it on local free paper/web site, MOT is due in July, so when I come back off me Hols end of June I will MOT it early.
Then when it passes put price up cos it has a 12mth MOT, if not sold by August, put it back on Fleabay for 3rd time lucky.

What is it with the fooking handbrake on 406's, mine has always been shite. Can it be adjusted under the centre console cos the adjuster between the rear wheels is adjusted fully? I cant even see the turning nut thing in the brake drum.

Everything in my car is now back to standard, except for the silver dash/dials.

I've basicly just had enough of electrical gremlins every now and then. I've had it for 17 mths or so and done 22,000 miles in it and generally loved it. But enough is enough I think, time to get rid.

I'm thinking of going for a BMW 320 or 325TD, Vectra SRi 2.0/2.5v6 or even a Mondeo (spit) 2.0.
I dont wanna spend too much on a car.

Go for BMW, they are a 'driver please-er' ... i always think Mercedes is meant to provide drive comfort for the passanger, while BMW spoil the driver with their performance and handling.

as for pug, i don't know. maybe lil bit of both. just a lil bit ... :cheesy:

Get a D8 :P
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang
