yep, the D8 V6 pushes 194 bhp with no VVT, but the D9 V6 has 210bhp and VVT which works using the oil pressure so the oil capacity is slightly higher

I beg to differ on that

ES Engine

Early D9s would have had the same 194 bhp lump as the D8. I will check my '99 V6 to see if it is the retuned ES J4S, but VVT was introduced much later.

Not complaining though :lol:

it first appeared in the D9 coupe, which did come a bit later than the first D9s, peugeot did a lot of chop and changing with the engines, i.e. the HDi 110 first appeared in the D8 albeit very rare, also the RFV coded 2.0 16v was fitted along side the RFN and RFR units when the D9 was first introduced it was just pot luck which engine you got, apart from australia which only got the RFV engine in the D9 for some odd reason :lol:
