My fluid is 5 and a half years old now

Also is there any way to know for sure when the new stuff is coming through, or do you have to rely on the "that must be enough" method?
on pugs with ABS you are supposed to link up to a diag to open the inlet and outlet valves on the ABS hydraulic unit so you can flush the entire system but no one ever does, im supposed to do it on the Volvos at work but i never bother, no one else does either, not even when replacing the hydraulic unit itself, which ive only ever done once (in error) :cheesy:

well like i said, your supposed to, but no one actually does, it would waste too much time, even though most garages will charge more for an ABS brake fluid change :|

I'm currently looking at 2x500ml of Motul 5.1 for £12. Any ideas how much the dealer is going to bedn me over for the disc, pad and fluid change?

do it yourself, its so bloody easy, and the dealer wont fit anything but genuine brake parts and only use genuine fluid
