Funnily enough (or not) when Rover was testing the 827 in 1987 they fitted a 2.7 Honda V6 unit to a Morris Ital in Brown on a V plate to do the long term road testing of the engine before it went into the 827. This was to deter the press at the time

Now that would have been interesting (on the straight bits of course).
