Hi,
I have been out in the day all day and noticed I get vibration in the steering wheel between 60 - 90mph (not gone over that) and the vibration gets worse. Very strange as I have checked all the tyre pressures and got quick fit to balance the two front tyres. Anybody have any ideas?
All I can think if is a tyre that is out of shape, but I have checked them and cannot see anything, also if this was the case surly quick fit would have noticed it and happily sold me two new tryes. Interesting the back tyres are Pirelli and the two fronts are mega (never heard of them)

Hi,
Ok the mechanic had a 406 in his garage so swapped all four wheels on mine for all four on the one in the garge and the vibration went, so either :
The wheels need balancing (although i did get two done a kwik fit)
The tyres are f*cked (the car may have been standing for a while) so may try deflating and reinfalting them as they may not be sitting correclty (also may over inflat and leave for a while) see if that fixes the shape of them
or tha alloys them self are out of shape (unlikly)
