As the title suggests how far can you go on a full tank of fuel?
I wa bored driving on the M6 not long back (roadworks) and this was my tank range
The best bit was I'd already covered this distance
yes I was very bored....

I've seen 900 and something on my Dad's 1.9DT 406 before.
No idea what the final mileage was.
I'm on the mark under half and at close to 500 miles at the mo.
Hoping for 700miles but we'll see

650 is doable in most instances. Once filled it up after doing 660 miles and still had 10 litres in the tank left
That's on 2.1TD

How do!! Did you miss me ?
Not been around t'interweb very much for the last 6 months or so. Bit too much going on elsewhere that took up my time.
I think I ended up getting around 820 miles from that tankful, drove round like a granny just to see how far I could stretch it
Normally get 650-700 from a tankful

PS I've got some goodies coming in the post, so expect another new thread to appear soon

I only get 650-700 to a tank dependent on traffic and weather
BUT IT'S A PETROL!

I've had somewhere around 700 out of a tank, it cost me over £70 to fill it (97.5p). So that was the one and only time i have run it down that low, normaly fill it up just half the "half" tank mark, around £45 to £50 which is plenty to send on fuel in one go.
Figure as the low pressure pump is lubricated by the fuel best not to run it low too often.

had over 900 miles out on my 2001 hdi 90, (had 180k on the clock at thr time) and my 2003 hdi 110, pay £0.80 per litre for my fuel, they were motorway miles though, one trip to fort william and one trip to hayle in cornwall
if you don't know where your going, any road will take you there
