electric windows

Hi
My car has electric windows,but the drivers control for the pas side window will only put it down,Any one know how to solve this problem.....have looked at wires going into switch on dr side and all looks ok

There is a small unit that you'll have to change.

My window used to go down randomly by itself when I pushed the button to go up.

After the change my problems stopped.

The guys here can probly tell ya exactly what it's called...

car electris are a mystery to me... you checked the wiring
in the passenger door ???

i have exactly the same problem, the auto window goes down and then wont go up again, if you press up while it is going down it stops, if you press up again it goes down?

i would imagine this is something to0 do with like a solenoid in the door motor as i can hear it click but the window doesnt move - prolly dirty contacts - will dismember and report back
