How come you didn't get the hoses done? About to get a goodridge set to go on mine.

Tyre is a Kleber, £66 inc at a dealer! So it's either sh*t or a good deal!

Brakes are good, take a little while to warm up and are a bit noisier under heavy braking but they stop good and haven't fadded yet. mind you i've been trying to use them lightly because they've only been on a week! (although thats like 1200 miles ago!!)

Didn't get the hoses done because the mech that did the disks said the fronts had the wrong fitting on the caliper end. I think he said the caliper was a kind of star shape and the hose was a half moon (the hose is like 80% full with a flat side) Spoke to some miserable twat in the dealers today and he said the V6 saloon has different hoses to the rest and the coupe has different again because of the brembos (I knew that bit :()

anyone know for sure?

Any chance you could take a pic of the caliper end, I've had the hoses of mine before (same caliper as yours) and I'm sure it was a domed (half moon) end fitting

I've got a Peugeot part/diagram catalog thingy on CD. According to the CD all the saloons, estates and coupes are the same hose wise. With one exception, the V6 coupe with brembo calipers. So your V6 saloon is the same as mine hose wise. Any chance of a piccy?

So, like, what's the black coating for on the discs which presumably rubs off pretty quick?

I've had the goodridge hoses on another car and they made the brakes a lot better with more feel and less effort. You wanna get'em on if you can fella.

Its like a powder coating to stop the discs rusting before they're fitted. Comes straight off.

I had a full set of braided hose on my CBR600, made a huge difference over the standard hoses.
