Your List of Jobs?

We hav'nt had a list of jobs for a while...

What needs doing on your 6?

My list;

New exhaust backbox needed (will buy a performance one while it needs doing...)
Front door sills need replacing as they are worn (and I keep kicking them off)
rear brake discs are slightly corroded and could do with replacing
rear tyres will need replacing soon
Air con needs a service and re-gas
Timing belt, kit and water pump will need doing soon (as a precaution)
Drivers door lock is playing up and needs attention
Tracking needs adjusting as car pulls slightly to the left and steering wheel is not straight
stereo wiring needs looking at due to 'loud bang' noise every so often
front middle ar vents dont appear to be working/blowing air

think thats it for now....

all in all a few jobs to kepe me busy.

Giving her a full service, plus gearbox oil and possibly readjust the handbrake (again!!) this weekend, weather permitting of course.

Can't think of anything that needs doing other than that, might get her remapped when I get the money back from these wheels.

Puggy, who did you use for your remap? What do you think of it so far? is it smokey or not too bad?

I used http://www.sp-tuning.co.uk a guy named jamie decent bloke , i've been
well pleased up to now . Seems to smoke a bit on hard acceleration but soon as
i reach whatever speed i want to do and back off it runs clean, a little over fuelling
perhaps . see you are from cheshire and seem to remember you mentioning driving over
by the cat and fiddle so think you not to far from me so if anytime you want to meet up and have a drive
to see what the difference is let me know

I'm planning on doing it ASAP before the engine explodes! Unfortunately I simply can't do it myself (not for lack of trying, damn crankshaft pulley bolt!).

I wanted to have it done before I drive to Germany a week on Tuesday, but it's looking extremely doubtful unless you fancy giving me a hand next weekend?

Next weekend should be ok for the Sunday if that is any good to you?

My brake pad light flickered on today on the way in so new pads I guess ;)
I'm assuming the orange circle with little dashes round it is brake pads?

I had this recently and found the sensing wire had moved out from behind the arch liner (at speed

) and the wire was being carved at by the Bottom Pulley, it got through the insulation and was bringing the light on

worth a quick look, you'll spot it straight away.
