Why was the 406 exec so expensive new?

I didn't want the Exec as I dont like Leather Seats so I got the next 1 down the GTX, more or less Exec Spec but without Leather. :cheesy:

I beleive mine NEW was £19,500 ish in 2001.

Love my Exec!

£22,000k worth of car and I only paid £2,250 for it. Bargain of the year.

because I am sad I have a full spec list for the Exec, and will post it on here when you have finished your game of 'Name That Spec'...

The list is bigger than you think....
