Driving to Exeter on Monday night for an interview with Devon and Cornwall Police on the Tuesday. I have applied for a transfer from Kent Police. Quite fancy living and working back in the Westcountry and get away from all the hussle and bussle of the South East.
Will get some tunes banging out on the JBL system on the way down, and have a nice cruise down in the 6.

Good luck there fella.
If you tell them you want to escape the hussle and bussle of the South East it could appear that you find it difficult to cope under pressure and are looking for 'an easy life'. I'm sure their station's are very busy too and you could explain that you feel you would be able to bring your experience of a busy inner-urban station and the many many varied situations you have to deal with (shows you are flexible and not affraid to get stuck in).
You will have to think of a really good answer to the 'why here?' question.
I'm not critisising here, just trying to offer advice which I hope you may find usefull.
