......... get the damn wipers off

What a stupid setup, why wont the wiper arms stand up like every other car.

I even undid the 16mm nut to take the hole arm off, and the arm wouldnt budge for love nor money

I hate cars.

Oh yeh, long gone are the days for replaceing another simple part, the accelerator cable. Peugeot dont make a replacement cable for any of thier cars........it comes in a kit and the mechanic has to put the kit together for the relevant model!! Have you seen where this cable is routed......certainly not an easy job for the DIY'er. I had to have my car towed 8 miles to the dealer as no other garage could either fit me in or could be bothered with the hassle, it cost me 200quid, the kit itself was only 30, I normaly would not touch a dealer at 88quid+ vat an hour!

I was well gutted at being ripped off, but had no choice as I to go to work that night, I gave them a right mouthfull! I think its disgraceful
that dealers are allowed to charge so much, they didnt even bother to wash the car for me!!! The garage I normally use is brilliant, the guy used to be a top mechanic with Peugeot, he's become so popular he's always booked up 3 wks in advance. I've brought him in loads of business over the last 6 yrs, but now when he see's me pulling up he does nothing but moan, because of the bodykit and lowered suspension out of the 3 ramps he's got there is only one that can accomodate my car and this is the ramp he uses for mot's, he winges that he looses money when ever he does work on my car!!! Thats gratitude for you.

Cheers Dai. Who does that guy on the vid think he is....... piss taking smart arse :x

I have since learnt that to change the wipers easily on the 6 is to have the wipers pointing straight up the windscreen. So i'll be having a bash at that.
