Howdy from Wolverhampton

Post by chill3r »

Alright Guyz/Galz

found the site through google - had a good look through and found it to contain some great information on 406's

i'm new to driving and as a first car ive purchased a 406 td exec 1.9 P reg - great cars i must say (not that i know loads about cars etc)

the one i bought i payed 700 for it with 12 months MOT and 6 months Tax - i think it's a bargain - as the extras on it are just great

i will post some pics soon as i get round to it - and maybe somebody could tell me if it really is a bargain

ok ramble over - hope your all ok

Welcome to the site.

I am a new 406 owner also.

I bought the 1.8 but on a S plate i got mine for £690 but does need some body work doing, so yes not a bad bargin (dependant upon condition)

If you have any queries about your car have a look through and i'm sure there is an answer somewhere!

Howdy! and welcome.

The phase 1 (D8) 406 represents a great bargain out there and is considered more reliable than the phase 2 (D9) and I think I can vouch for that.

Eww Wolverhampton - unlucky! :)

Welcome to the forum! :)
<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Wha? I tried 3 times to post that, in the end it came up on the wrong thread! I don't think it's the new board's fault either, I think I need to go and lie down or something.
