Under Bonnet Fuse Box?
Is they another fuse box under the bonnet apart from the 1 just above the battery?
The fuse box I have only has about 12 fuses in it, and I need to pull no 23 for ABS Control Unit which I cant find.
I've pulled fuse 3 from under the steering wheel, altho it has improved braking it has also made the brake lights not work anymore. lol

There's the relay fusebox, the under-dash fusebox and the hidden one. ;)
The hidden one is in front of the relay fusebox right next to the wing, to the right hand side of the battery box i think. It's cover is about 3"x1" (orientated longest side parallel to the wing) and has a few high-current fuses in it such as the ones for the fans

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Well I still cant find this bloody fusebox. I've found 4 fuse boxes but not the 1 I want.
2 under steering wheel, underbonnet above battery, and another to right of battery.
Not 1 of them has Fuse 23 ABS Control Unit.

why do you want to take the fuse out for the abs?
if you want to cut out the abs then just unplug one of the front sensors

Wanna take it out cos it appears to be faulty. I'll try and unplug a sensor.jameslxdt wrote:why do you want to take the fuse out for the abs?

Altho a m8 did unplug the cable to the ABS unit, this then made the speedo not work and of course the ABS light up.

Occasionally when I brake I feel the ABS kicking in, even tho I'm only lightly braking and know that no way a wheel could be slipping.
When it happens I press very firmly on the brake to get it stop. When the cable was removed from the ABS Unit it felt great again, obviously the wheel would lock up under heavy braking. No ABS light is on atm, neither does it come on when it kicks in. So it appears to be a random problem with ABS Sensor or ABS Control Unit. Brake Pads are fine, and the Discs look ok as well.
